Phi Delta Theta was proud to be in Washington, DC on April 14-15, 2026 to meet with Members of Congress and their staff. They joined hundreds of undergraduate and alumni fraternity and sorority leaders to participate in the annual Capitol Hill visits. Every April, as part of the Fraternal Government Relations Coalition (FGRC), selected student and alumni representatives of fraternities and sororities meet in Washington, DC, to advocate for issues important to the Greek community, including eradicating hazing and protecting freedom of association.

Phi Delta Theta delegates included Jacob Williams, Arkansas State University; Colin Shea, California Polytechnic State University; Cody Carroll, University of North Dakota; Gavin Dealy, Texas A&M University; Aidan Quave, Mississippi State University; Alexey Krivega, University of California–Berkeley, Nat Love, University of Michigan, General Council President; Tom Balzer, University of North Dakota, General Council Treasurer; David Almacy, Widener University, Past President General Council; Rick Shelby, Southwestern Oklahoma State University; and Braydon Beckwith, George Mason University, GHQ Chapter Support Coordinator.
The Fraternal Government Relations Coalition (FGRC) is a collaborative effort between the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC), National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), Fraternity/Sorority Political Action Committee (FSPAC) and Fraternity and Sorority Action Fund (FSAF). The FGRC represents 92 single-gender fraternities and sororities nationwide with more than 800,000 undergraduate members at 9,500 chapters on 700 campuses, as well as more than 9.1 million alumni. The NIC and NPC set and execute the advocacy agenda for the FGRC and directly lobby Congress.
